Teaching #88: Exploring your own Inner Stillness

 

Meditation, mindfulness, and compassion bring you into the stillness in which your innocence is most unguarded and available. It is here that you can most deeply experience insight as to what genuinely matters. To make a journey of exploring your own inner stillness is the most refined and subtle form of dancing with life. Within this stillness lies your reconciliation with all of life’s movement.

For your reflection: In this last weekly teaching, reflect on what really matters to you. Be honest about how much emphasis you wish to place on exploring your inner life versus getting the external conditions of your life to be the way you want. This is the life choice all mature adults must make.
