Teaching of the Week #84

Teaching #84 Mind State Dependent Happiness

The second kind of happiness is experienced when…life isn’t the way you would prefer it to be, but you feel just fine and you are not being defined by unpleasant conditions. When you are temporarily centered in well-being that is not dependent on conditions being right, your happiness is dependent on your state of mind. But this kind of happiness is also unreliable, just as the Buddha said.

Chapter 22, Pg 263-264
